The picturesque Mitford Hospital was established in a strategic position to serve the people of old Dhaka, Zinzira, Keranigong, Narayangonj and adjacent area. We are providing primary to tertiary level health care services to the people of above- mentioned area and tertiary level health care services to the patients coming from other districts specially those who are coming by the riverine route from Barisal, Bhola, Chandpur, Comilla etc. Upgradation of this hospital to 2000 bed in future with the construction of two multi-storied building is in active consideration of our government. The department of Cardiac Surgery and the dialysis unit with 33 machines have started in recent past to serve the patients. At present our main constrain is the inadequacy of space in our buildings. We are hopeful that the construction of a multi-storied building will start soon. We the doctors, nurses, para-medics and all other supporting staffs working in this hospital are committed to serve our clients i.e. our patients. Our ultimate aim is to achieve our patients’ satisfaction through our whole-hearted health care service delivery.
